my home

my home is so damn beautiful.

as the sun sets on an early hot summer day;

where the orange rays touch the ground they brighten up the grass, the trees, each piece of earth – a sacred act.

so they can finally lay to rest their blooming hearts waiting for the cooling cover of the darkness. in the stillness of the night they can breathe, they can rest for the glory of a new morning.

it’s the birds that get me out of bed; their melody resonating with my heart – singing of my hopes and my joys.

we should do them equal.

we should wake up singing with a grateful heart for every breath and every new day.

my home is so damn beautiful.

i am home. i can stay. i calmly lay to rest my search.
